General Description of Unit
The Information Technology Unit aims to develop technological and AI system support to ensure the efficient operation of the organization by offering technical solutions, managing systems and networks, protecting data, and contributing to the development of a secure and effective digital infrastructure that supports the achievement of the organization's goals.
He/She is in charge of general organizational transformation towards AI solutions and integrating AI with services.
Purpose of Position
The IT Officer will be the primary point of contact for staff with issues related to our IT systems and AI applications. They
will troubleshoot problems, document, and track user requests, and ensure satisfaction through proactive communication
and timely follow-up.
Communication and coordination structure of the position
This position holder will report directly to Operations Director and full coordination with all programs teams and department
managers.
PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES (RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS) – ToR
He/She will be responsible for, but not limited to:
▪ Establish organizational policy and vision for IT services and scope of work. This includes Network, software
installation, and support.
▪ Develop AI policy in coordination with departments managers to fit with projects deliverables and organization
system.
▪ Manage and maintain workstations (format, set up domain user, software installation, etc…)
▪ Maintain, set up, and configure printers, wireless access points, switches, routers, and all other IT-related devices.
▪ Perform Windows system, software, and anti-virus installation, configuration, and regular updates.
▪ Set up new computers & laptops.
▪ Managing and monitoring regular maintenance of communication electronic devices and IT equipment.
▪ Manage and track IT inventory.
▪ Advise \ technically approve IT purchases.
▪ Set up remote access software to support staff with IT-related issues in all SDI offices.
▪ Maintain and enhance of restricted user environment (Network policy based).

HR Departement
▪ Document, track, and follow all IT issues (cyber security issues, incidents, breakdowns, equipment changes, and
data security....)
▪ Support organizational-wide priorities by ensuring optimal support and timely resolution of incidents
▪ Troubleshoot, Track, and follow all incidents to conclusion.
▪ Perform all IT administration-related tasks, as assigned, and report any other IT-related issues.
▪ Ensure compliance with the IT and cybersecurity policies and processes.
Technical knowledge
• University degree or diploma in Information Technology or other related fields.
• Two years of experience in the IT field and AI.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft programs.
• Advanced level in English.
• Arabic language required.
Skills and Abilities (behavioral, interpersonal and personal skills)
▪ Proven experience in AI, Promots, variety of applications and experiences.
▪ Proficiency in operating systems, security software, and Microsoft Office programs.
▪ Familiarity with cybersecurity systems and information security standards.
▪ Ability to install, update, and maintain software and hardware .
▪ Excellent communication skills, especially when working with non-technical staff.
▪ Ability to manage time, and respond quickly to technical emergencies .
▪ Analytical skills to assess technical needs and provide appropriate solutions .
▪ Teamwork and coordination skills with other departments .
▪ Commitment to confidentiality and data protection .
▪ Willingness to provide on-site support in offices or field locations where the organization operates .
▪ Previous experience in a non-profit or humanitarian work environment is preferred.
▪ Good English competences.
