Job Summary: We are looking for a Focal Point who is going to oversee the implementation of their program, and facilitate communication among key stakeholders to execute initiatives.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conducting Focus Group discussion with the Community to assess their needs.
• Managing the needs assessment process.
• Conducting regular meetings to assess the Community's situation and assessing the problems and challenges and proposing solutions.
• Building the capacity through training sessions with specialized trainers.
• Providing periodic reports to the Social Center Supervisor and to the coordinator.
• Enquiring about the services provided by the other NGOs in the Community and disseminating GOPA-DERD's services to the Community.
• All other volunteering tasks might be required to improve the working process.

Professional Qualification and Experience:

• Essentials:
  • Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Business, or any other related field.
  • Preferable previous experience in a similar field, an experience in needs assessment would be a plus.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Good knowledge of the region and the community.
• Desirable:
  • Previous experience with non-profit organizations would be a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to respect deadlines.
  • Dealing with beneficiaries.
  • Commitment to the vision, mission, values, principles, and aims of GOPA-DERD.
  • Flexibility and ability to easily adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced work environment.
