Summary: The Case Manager will be responsible for providing individual and group counseling sessions to the beneficiaries. The case manager will also manage the case for cases that require the provision of various services. case management that needs specialized services provided by the doctor and therapist, and continuity in following up the case to ensure that the case receives the largest possible number of available services. In addition to conducting PSS sessions for the children and the caregivers.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Providing individual counseling sessions for beneficiaries to conduct the required psychosocial assessment of cases need to case management to be followed up continuously.
  • Providing initial counseling sessions for the cases that are being managed.
  • Transmission the cases required specialist services and following up them.
  • Transmission the cases required other services either in the center or in other centers of the area, with permanently following up and conducting the assessment.
  • Maintaining the records of the case according to ethical and professional standards of confidentiality and safety.
  • Conducting PSS structured sessions for children and their caregivers.
  • Contributing to the action plan preparation.
  • Preparing the required reports and the treatment plans on time.
  • Contributing positively in the work environment.
  • Promoting PSEA polices "Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse" in the center and among the beneficiaries to whom various services are provided.
  • All other volunteering tasks might be required to improve the working process.

Professional Qualification and Experience:

Essentials:

  • Bachelor Degree in Counseling Psychology or Psychology.
  • Previous experience is case management related to psychosocial support and mental health. Experience in working with survivors of gender-based violence is a necessity.
  • Previous experience in GBV program is a necessity.
  • Previous experience in the field of primary diagnosis of mental and behavioral disorders.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Commitment in helping others and good judgment.
  • Good command of the English language.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience with non-profit organizations would be a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to respect deadlines.
  • Time Management skills.
  • Commitment to the vision, mission, values, principles, and aims of GOPA-DERD.
  • Flexibility and ability to easily adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced work environment.
