Focal Point - Agriculture

Summary:

We are looking for a Focal Point - Agriculture who is going to be responsible for managing the activities. The successful candidate will be able to supervise and develop the activities inside and outside the Center.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Following up on agriculture needs assessment process.
• Conducting initial interviews with beneficiaries.
• Equipping and preparing the place of the training and coordinate with the trainers.
• Monitoring the activities related to agriculture courses, in and out the center and submitting reports to the Program Coordinator.
• Helping to specify the tool kits.
• Assisting applicants to benefit from the program to conduct an economic feasibility study.
• Implementation of grant projects by following up all the steps of purchasing and delivering.
• Conducting follow-ups and evaluations of the implemented projects through field visits.
• All other volunteering tasks might be required to improve the working process.

Professional Qualification and Experience:

Essentials:

• Bachelor's degree is minimum required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar field.
• Good command of the English language.
• Good knowledge of the region.

Desirable:

• Ability to work under pressure and to respect deadlines.
• Commitment to the vision, mission, values, principles, and aims of GOPA-DERD.
• Dealing with beneficiaries.
• Flexibility and ability to easily adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced work environment.
