Summary:

We are looking for a Focal Point – Education who is going to be responsible for providing educational support to children and students who need educational support.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Providing beneficiaries with all kinds of Educational Support in coordination with the Education Coordinator according to a yearly and monthly action plans which might be adapted following to the needs and circumstances.
• Presenting reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to Education Coordinator.
• Monitoring all the educational activities inside and outside the child protection friendly space.
• Monitoring the performance of students and lecturers, as well as the student's educational curriculum.
• Monitoring the educational background of the students registered in the centers.
• Suggesting educational programs or activities according to the needs assessment.
• All other volunteering tasks might be required to improve working process.

Professional Qualification and Experience:

Essentials:

• Bachelor's degree is a minimum required or senior student with minimum of one year of relevant experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Good command of the English language.
• Good command of MS Word and Excel.

Desirable:

• Ability to work under pressure and to respect deadlines.
• Time Management skills.
• Commitment to the vision, mission, values, principles, and aims of GOPA-DERD.
• Flexibility and ability to easily adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced work environment.
