Outreach Worker

Main Responsibility:

  1. Build trust and engage with individuals and families through outreach activities.
  2. Accompany the families through periodic visits and assess their needs fairly and accountably.
  3. Help to Connect individuals & Families with appropriate services and resources including living conditions, healthcare, education, and social support systems.
  4. Welcome families and individuals who visit the center and help in providing them with the support they need.
  5. Conduct community outreach activities (including home visits) to raise the awareness about the available services and identify individuals or families who may benefit from support.
  6. Maintain accurate records of interactions, services provided, and outcomes achieved.
  7. Respect diverse cultures and the variety of backgrounds and experiences that relate to families during interactions.
  8. Contribute to monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of outreach efforts by offering feedback to enhance service delivery
  9. Adhere to ethical standards and ensure client confidentiality at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Intermediate Institute.
  2. 1 - 2 years of experience in the same field.
  3. Good command of English Language.
  4. Skills in using Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel, Access, and Word.
  5. Excellent communication skills.
  6. Neutrality and openness to others in terms of religion, race, and social status.

  14. Policy and Procedures for Preventing and Responding to Sexual Exploitation and Abuse and Policy Child Safeguarding
    • JRS has a policy of zero tolerance of sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) by volunteers. All volunteers shall protect against and prevent sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA).
    • JRS has a robust Child Safeguarding Policy and accompanying procedures, and all volunteers must adhere to a culture of child centered best practice and uphold the JRS Child Safeguarding Policy and follow the related procedures.
