Job PurposeEnsure the implementation of agricultural infrastructure works according to technical standards, in a manner that achieves the project's objectives in irrigation and drainage.


Duties and Responsibilities

• Conducting accurate field assessments to determine the condition of irrigation and drainage networks and pumping stations.
• Preparing engineering designs and execution plans using design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
• Preparing quantity tables and technical specifications for each construction activity.
• Supervising the implementation of lining, cleaning, pipe installation, and the creation of sediment traps.
• Coordinating with suppliers and contractors to ensure the quality of materials used and their compliance with specifications.
• Monitoring the progress of work in the field and documenting any deviations or technical challenges.
• Preparing weekly and monthly reports on the progress of work, including photos, timelines, and completion percentages.
• Ensuring the application of occupational safety procedures at work sites, especially during excavation and work at depths.

Academic Qualifications, Requirements, and Skills

•  A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related fields.
• Proficiency and experience in drawing and using GIS and AutoCAD software.
•  Proficient in computer programs and using Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Relevant practical experience of no less than one year.
• Deep understanding of agricultural irrigation and drainage engineering.
• Ability to manage field work teams and monitor quality.
• Analytical skills to solve technical problems on-site.
• Proficiency in preparing technical documents and engineering reports.
