Job purpose:
Under the Syria response portfolio, a project funded by OCHA is ongoing in Syria that aims to provide life-saving support to vulnerable populations in Syria through integrated interventions across WASH, health, and Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) sectors.

This position will be reporting to the Project director, assisting in the preparation of accurate and timely reports. Key responsibilities include data collection, analysis, and supporting the team in meeting the project's reporting requirements.

Major Responsibilities

Data Management and Analysis:

• Collect, clean, and manage project data from various sources.
• Maintain databases and spreadsheets to organize project data efficiently.
• Update project summaries and project tracking sheets regularly, ensuring only active and current projects are listed.

Maintain and update project organogram to reflect current structures.

Communication, Coordination, and AAP:

• Coordinate with data entry staff, to gather necessary information for project weekly and monthly reports.
• Contribute with maintain complaints tracking system that is aligned with the project data.
• Follow up monthly with project managers to collect project achievements and progress updates.

Ensure project managers update project sheets on a weekly basis to maintain accurate and up-to-date data.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

• Support the reporting officer to ensure all reports comply with organizational and donor standards, including donor requirements
• Assist in conducting audits and reviews to ensure adherence to reporting protocols and guidelines.

Complete required reporting forms and develop new forms as requested by the Project director.

Activities Tracking

• Develop and maintain sophisticated tracking tools to monitor the accomplishment of project activities against established targets and timelines.
• Collaborate with the Project director to plan and set Gant charts for each project that showcase the targets & achievement
• Regularly update progress-tracking tools and generate reports that highlight key milestones, achievements, and any deviations from planned activities.
• Prepare presentations and visual reports to communicate project progress and performance when required.

Provide all required support and carry out tasks assigned by the Project Director/ area manager in a timely and efficient manner.

Required Professional Experience :

Minimum of 4 years of experience in reporting, data management, financial tracking, and information management

• Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection, financial and data analysis, and reporting.
• Proficiency in using data management and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Word, power point, POWER BI, etc.).
• Strong administration skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to design template

Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification :

Bachelor’s degree in management, engineering, International Development, Statistics, or a related field.

Required Knowledge and Qualifications :

Experience working with PMP tools is necessary Excellent writing experience

Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement :
Field visits within Syria as required.

Language :

Requirements Fluency in Arabic and English
