Job Summary

• We are looking for Grants Focal Point who is going to be responsible for implementing the project activities in the area and providing small business support to the beneficiaries in need.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Following up on small business grants needs assessment process.
• Coordinating with trainers, or giving a training course on how to manage a small project.
• Assisting applicants to benefit from the project to conduct an economic feasibility study.
• Implementation of small business grant projects by following up all the steps of purchasing and delivering.
• Presenting weekly reports to the project coordinator.
• Conducting follow-ups and evaluations of the implemented projects through field visit.

Professional Qualification and ExperienceEssentials:

• Accounting institute, Finance institute, or any other related degree is a minimum requirement.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar field.
• Good command of the English language.
• Good knowledge of the region.

Desirable:

• Ability to work under pressure and to respect deadlines.
• Commitment to the vision, mission, values, principles, and aims of GOPA-DERD.
• Dealing with beneficiaries.
• Flexibility and ability to easily adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced work environment.

Volunteer Selection Process

• The assessment of the applications will be started with the identification of the job’s success criteria (Essentials at least), short-listed candidates will be invited for an interview.
