Finance Officer (Reporting)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Financial Procedures
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, and financial regulations.
Support audits, compliance reviews, and risk mitigation activities.
- Financial Systems & Internal Controls
Strengthening financial systems, internal controls, documentation, and record-keeping practices.
Maintain accurate financial records and audit trails.
- Budgeting, Financial Planning & Grant Management
Support budget preparation, monitoring, forecasting, and grant financial management.
Analyze budget variances and monitor resource utilization.
- Financial Reporting & Documentation
Prepare and review financial, donor, and management reports. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely financial reporting.
- Contract & Financial Agreement Management
Review financial aspects of contracts, agreements, and partnerships. Monitor financial commitments and contractual obligations.
- Capacity Building & Coordination
Provide financial guidance, training, and technical support to staff.
Coordinate with internal departments, donors, and external stakeholders on financial matters.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
3–5 years of relevant experience in finance, budgeting, grants, and donor-funded projects.
Strong knowledge of financial controls, compliance, auditing, and reporting. Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency.
Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities.
