Artificial Intelligence for Teachers Trainer


Number of Positions: 2 (One Trainer in Aleppo and One Trainer in Idlib)

 

Purpose of this Document

This document aims to identify, recruit, and select qualified trainers with proven expertise in Educational Technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to design and develop a comprehensive training package and deliver high-quality training programs for teachers.

The training seeks to enhance teachers’ digitl literacy and equip them with the knowledge and practical skills needed to effectively, efficiently, and safely integrate AI applications into the teaching and learning process. By fostering responsible and innovative use of AI-powered educational tools, the program aims to improve instructional practices, support student engagement, and strengthen teachers’ capacity to navigate the evolving digital learning landscape.

Scope of Work and Key Training Areas

The trainer is expected to design and deliver a comprehensive training program based on a practical, participatory,and experiential learning approach (“learning by doing”), in close consultation and coordination with the Violet  Organization team. The training package should cover, but not be limited to, the following core areas:

Introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI): Fundamental concepts of AI, its key principles ,emerging trends, and current applications within digital education and teaching environments.

Utilizing Generative AI Tools in Education: Practical use of AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT and other advanced educational assistants to support lesson planning, develop innovative teaching materials, generate classroom activities, and enhance educational content delivery.

  • AI for Student Assessment and Learning Analytics: Application of AI technologies in designing student assessment methods, developing performance measurement tools, creating quizzes and evaluation instruments, and analyzing learning outcomes to support data-driven educational decision-making.
  • Ethical Considerations and Digital Responsibility: Promoting the responsible, safe, and ethical use of AI technologies in education, including data privacy, digital citizenship, safeguarding considerations, and appropriate guidance for students when engaging with technology.
  • Additional Relevant topics: Any other themes, tools, or emerging practices related to educational technology and artificial intelligence that may be identified and incorporated during the planning and implementation phases of the training.

 The training should emphasize hands-on practice, real-life educational applications, and practical exercises that enable teachers to confidently integrate Al -driven solutions into their daily teaching practices.

Expected Deliverables and Responsibilities

The training service provider shall be responsible for the following:

  • Developing a comprehensive training package in Arabic and submitting it to the Violet Organization supervisor for review, feedback, and final approval prior to implementation.
  • Designing and administering pre- and post-training assessment tools (Pre- and Post-Tests) to measure participants’ knowledge acquisition, learning progress, and overall achievement of the training objectives.
  • Delivering interactive, practical, and learner-centered training sessions for the targeted groups in accordance with an agreed implementation schedule, ensuring active participation and hands-on learning opportunities.
  • Preparing and submitting a final training report that includes an analysis of assessment results, key observations from the training process, lessons learned, trainer recommendations, participant feedback, and identified future capacity-building needs.
  • Carrying out any additional tasks relevant to the successful delivery, documentation, and enhancement of training outcomes, including the development of supplementary learning resources, practical exercises, or follow-up recommendations that contribute to the overall effectiveness and sustainability of the training program.

The trainer is expected to maintain close coordination with the Violet Organization team throughout all stages of the assignment to ensure the quality, relevance, and successful achievement of the training objectives.

Duration and Location

The training service provider shall be responsible for delivering the training over four (4) training days within the overall project implementation period, from 15 July 2026 to 1 September 2026.

The training activities will be conducted in Northwest Syria, specifically in Idlib, Sarmada, and Aleppo, with the exact training dates and locations to be determined in coordination with the project management team and in accordance with operational requirements.

The trainer is expected to ensure full availability and flexibility within the designated project timeframe and to coordinate closely with Violet Organization to facilitate the successful planning and implementation of all training activities.

Required Qualifications

Academic and Training Qualifications

Auniversity degree, intermediate diploma, or advanced professional certifications in one or more of the following fields: Information Technology, Computer Science, Educational Technology (EdTech), Artificial Intelligence,Digital Transformation, or any other related discipline

Proven professional and training experience of at least two years, or a minimum of 25 documented training hours, in the fields of Artificial Intelligence applications, digital transformation, and/or the integration of emerging technologies within educational settings.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary AI tools and digital learning solutions, with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical and accessible applications for educators.
  • Relevant certifications in Artificial Intelligence, digital learning, instructional technology, teacher professional development, or related areas will be considered an added advantage.

Note: the above-mentioned key responsibilitiesare illustrative ones. Other future responsibilitiesmay be assigned to the job depending on the department organizational chart.
