Information Management Officer

Location: Executive Office - Damascus

Objectives:

Enhance Caritas data management capacities, ensure data quality and protection, support monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems and develop business intelligence tools while coordinating with project teams and external partners.

Responsibilities:

⚫ Design project surveys using internal tools, taking into consideration evaluation standards for each individual project.

• Develop project-based user interfaces using Caritas Syria's internally used ERP system, including database design and configuration.

⚫ Design dashboards and reports based on each project's needs and KPIs, extracting data from database quickly and efficiently.

⚫ Data management and analysis using platforms such as Kobo Toolbox, Power BI and others.

• Provide technical support to all Caritas Syria Offices regarding internally used ERP system.

• Implement automated backups for all databases on servers.

• Work in cooperation with ICT Manager.

Meet deadlines and complete tasks in timely and competent manner.

• Coordinate with project management department and web developers to plan project needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in (Computer Science, Information Technology...) Engineering, or related field.

• Experience designing, building and maintaining scalable web applications (front-end and back-end).

• Minimum 2 years' experience in database administration (SQL Server).

• Experience designing and maintaining surveys and reporting on multiple platforms (Kobo Toolbox required).

⚫ Fluency in Arabic; advanced English is an asset.

• Advanced Excel skills.

• Good work ethics and ability to work well in a team.
